Jensen 20G
« on: May 16, 2024, 07:10:59 pm »
Here is my 20G running rather well. It runs better in one direction so I may have to adjust the timing but I’m very pleased with it. Thanks to all who helped me with the advice I needed especially Bruce. This was probably the best bargain I have found on eBay.

You have it running beautifully, certainly was one heck of a bargain.

The #20 is my favorite Jensen.    Nice runner and looks good.  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Bruce! That means a lot to me. I saw one of your videos describing the type of oil you use on the Jensen generator’s bearings but I can’t seem to find it again. Something about it’s more electrically conductive? The generator is pretty powerful on this one as it burned out a bulb rather quickly and I believe it was a 3 volt one too!

Thank you Travis! Hopefully you will have one someday. I waited about 20 years for mine. But you’ve got some very nice steam plants. I really like your PM Research number 3.

Thank you!  I really like the Hybrid style using a Jensen boiler.  Jensen makes the best small boilers I’ve found. They are sturdy, robust, hold pressure, and conduct heat VERY well!

I have gotten mine up past 50 psi without an issue.

I was experimenting with the settings. It should work now, Tommy.

Oh yeah it's working now. Good running engine Mike, but what else should we expect,
it's a Jensen.
