This is a lot of steam powered craftsman-built accessories that I acquired a few days ago, my 1st impression was that they are physically larger than I thought they would be when I viewed them in the photos, they all need some attention to bring them up to standard that I want them to be, but I am pleased with what I received. they are all built from Oak timbers with many small nut & bolts to hold them together & completely hand built. as I get them up to good working condition I will feature each piece individually on this thread. my ongoing feud with Ebay appears to be over, as they have finally reversed the charges.

Great score, Bruce...!!!

They look very nice.

and

I'm happy hear eBay decided to see the light and make things right with you dollar wise.
There is just no excuse for what they put you through.

Oh boy, bubble wrap and peanuts, looks like he did a good job packing.
I'd seen these and had them on my list, looks like you got several of
his lots. Good grab, they couldn't have found a better home.

Yes, he did a "GREAT" job on the packaging. They didn't go dirt cheap, but I really like this folksy kind of thing & I'm  very pleased with the purchase. I have a bit of work to do on most of them...but I anticipated that. They are bigger than I figured they would be (& heavier). I bought both lots because the latter one went so cheaply.

If I had to lose this auction, I am glad it was to you.

I can’t wait to see the videos.

The Baker Fan is really a nice piece.

Congratulations Bruce.

Congratulations, Bruce, those are some very sturdy accessories! Nothing like the pressed tin toys one often sees, and very large. "We're gonna need a bigger engine..."

Also, glad to hear you solved your issue with eBay.

Paula

PS, I don't know why, but as you were hacking away at that bubble-wrap with the utility knife blade, I kept absent-mindedly reaching for my scissors! ;D

Great Score Bruce!

Looking forward to seeing how the SPS touch brings them to the forefront!!!

Lol...I've learned to try to "cut away" from the items as to not damage anything, the seller did a fine job on packaging. Do to they're size I'm trying to decide what engine might be suitable to power them, I'm thinking my Stuart beam might be appropriate for the task.

What? Blasphemer!  American toys need American steam. This is a job for the Jensen 50.

Lol...I'm sure these are American made, all the nuts & bolts are SAE. I have 4 pcs ready to film, but I ran out of time today. I'm trying to keep the power plant in scale for the accessories, they seem about 1" scale, maybe the Markie traction engine would be a good choice ( dang it's made in England), the #50 is just too large. I need to buy some leather belting to run on the big ol' wide pulleys.

If the Jensen #50 is too big, then perhaps the #20 or #55 would be the right sized engine to take on these tasks for you?!?!
