Jensen 95 G turbine driving a 15BL generator
« on: March 22, 2019, 05:54:24 am »
Posted this video in the wrong place before, re-routed it here where it belongs.

I cannibalized a Jensen 95G some years ago to make the turbine a standalone accessory coupled up with a Jensen 15BL (ball bearing generator/lamp setup).

Running it off a Jensen 51 Replica's large boiler really makes it sing!

Great setup Rog. I do like the sound of the Jensen turbine.

HI Rog, Nice work! That is a great free-standing turbine generator rig.

The model 50 boiler is what that turbine needs. Great video.

A wonderful setup Rog!, your Jensen #50 boiler is well matched for it.
Your nose is before your eyes, so trust it first!

Great show Roger !!!

You´re absolutely right when you call these "steam hogs", they´re VERY hungry to say the least...
However, you´ve nicely solved that problem, by hooking yours up to that fantastic 51R of yours, which certainly doesn´t appear to be troubled by the task.
Cheers

Rog:

A well executed modification.

Do you still own this one or have you passed it on?
