Maerklin 16051 First Run With Accessories
« on: April 23, 2022, 07:01:50 pm »
I finally got around to running my big reproduction Maerklin duplex. In this video the engine is used to power an AHI toy workshop made ca. 1960, and a Maerklin powered hammer toy No. 4366 ca. 1929. The engine is running on compressed air. The AHI workshop is identical to the one I received as a Christmas gift in 1960. This workshop is in mint condition and has very little zincpest. The hammer toy is a recent acquisition ex-Germany.

Certainly, a nice Plant & set of toys Jim, the flywheels run very true on this one.

Oh I will fire it up, this was the first time running it. Next time it will be under steam.
