made a video of the SP6 I bought from Dave (jerseysteam) last week, it was packed for a nuclear explosion & made the trip in fine condition. it looks good & runs good....please enjoy

Admittedly not much of a Mamod fan, but they certainly do have a few models that tick all the right boxes here, this being one of them...

I'm not either Jan, this would only be the third one including the other forum anniversary engine that I ever bought, & this is definitely the best of that bunch, Jim convinced me I ought to buy it...& i'm glad I did, i find it will run 40 minutes on a low flame & I have run it for the last few nights. I found out it wont run on compressed air...I've had a few engines that were that way.

Like a few others here, Mamod is not my favorite brand and I have owned/passed on many of them.  But I do like the slide valve Mamod you have there Bruce, really looks cool dialed down to barely ticking over.  Not sure why, but few other engines seem to have that ease of reversing...nice feature.
