Mini "MaBoRun"
« on: June 19, 2020, 10:19:08 pm »
This was a $15 Amazon buy, no longer available, but they are on ebay for $22... no modification needed for running on steam, just have to get the speed slow enough with steady movement

A great little accessory Nick!

I ordered one today. 🤠

A very well made video. And a nice use of the Empire Transmission.

Thanks Charlie, wish I would have made the video a little sooner and saved you a couple bucks.

Getting the speed right is tricky with this one, any faster and the balls launch out the top and roll off the table and are easily lost  :D

A larger engine would probably be helpful... the engine does notice the extra weight when a ball enters the wheel, I was thinking a heavy flywheel Jensen 20 would be better to keep the momentum or a twin cylinder like the 55 to keep smooth movement.

Very interesting, may just get one myself.
If I had the storage space... And the money... I'd have a few more engines.

I put mine together this week.

A neat little kit and a nice steam accessory.
