I've really enjoyed this project doing some mods to this engine

Great setup Jim well done, beautiful stacks the steam really chuffs out nicely from them, they remind me of a Pete 379 going down the highway  :)

Thanks Neil, its funny you said that....last night we watched a show on TV where a bloke brought a Mack Magnum truck to Australia from the USA and there were heaps of other big rigs in the yard and my wife said "that steam engine looks like one of those trucks with the big exhausts" :)

Full on AWESOME steam plant you've put together there Mate!

I too love the twin stacks and the steam plumes they pour forth!!

You've really "tarted" that PMR #7 Twin up to perfection!!!

Only thing I'd do more would be to insulate your main steam line from the boiler to the oiler. Probably just use split neoprene tubing of the right size, rather than trying to wrap lagging cord around the whole length, that way it would remain flexible for use with other set-ups.

Thanks Daniel, I'm really happy how it turned out.
Copied from a Jensen #55 'Deluxe' I bought off Gil some years back.

I was thinking of lagging the pipe with string and white paint, but my hands and fingers started to ache just contemplating it.
