Wilesco D28 EL Steam Engine
« on: January 28, 2021, 07:00:18 pm »
Wilesco D28 EL Steam Engine running on a DIY 'Juice Reducer' (Variac) as like all Wilesco electric fired boilers they put out a LOT of heat and its very handy to be able to turn down that voltage going to the heater.

This beauty only brought $180. I bid up to $170, but wasn’t ready to explain another 8 hour car ride for another engine 😂

Nice Jim , I do have a D28 on my shortlist of "most wanted" engines.
Nick I'd love to know where you "heavy hitter" collectors" look for all the steam engine auction houses.😊👍
