HaHah!...I may be able to shine some light, the Big Nick is a very fine German made casting kit of one of the most impressive running hot air engines I have seen, they are not common here in the states. Watch the video to the end, he puts water in the resevour and mineral oil in oiler, as the engine heats up it will puff smoke from the stack!...the video is not mine but from Bengs Modelbau website. 
THIS IS AMAZING!! I never knew I needed this until Just now! Many thanks for sharing the info and Video this is so stunning. I want it bad now!!
