My last electric (probably)
« on: March 09, 2025, 05:24:52 pm »
Finally finished after an on and off year and a half is my Caldercraft Cumbrae Clyde Pilots Boat that I built as a private yacht. It is electric powered but the next two builds, a Krick Anna with Cheddar Pipit steam plant and a 48" long Diana steam launch with Stuart D10 and HB4 boiler,  will be steam powered. No excuses but at 80 years old with poor eyesight and unsteady hands everything is getting a little (lot) harder to do but it's still enjoyable.

That looks SUPERB!!!

I have the exact same set-up on my Opti-Visor, and likely for all the same reasons ...   ;c)

Bonjour Larry,
Great job indeed, it will be a peasure to see this baby on the water.
Besides this, the Stuart D10 is my preferred steam machine so I can't wait to see your next projevt with it.
And remember, when you have a passion, you are always young  ;)
