A great seller and a beautiful boiler
« on: April 28, 2025, 03:26:29 am »
Recently had this boiler arrive on eBay… the seller bought it new and there was never an engine with it.

Was packed very well and included a note that some extras were packed inside that I may find useful… the extras probably cost as much as the boiler!! Also had little post-it notes on all the bubble wrap so I knew where to peel the tape off

Well done Nick .... I'd rate that as NOS of the First Class!

That’s a hell of a boiler and with those extra PMR fittings is a HUGE added bonus.

Wow, you certainly scored with all the extras, there is as much value there as the boiler.

Nice grab, I think. You didn't say what you paid. Was it $200 or $2,000?

I love that "pull here" for the tape!

Why people wrap up things in massive amounts of shipping tape is beyond me.  I often just use blue-tape or even when I do use packing tape, I fold over a bit so it can be easily pulled apart!

That said, that is a sweet engine and is very beautiful!

Great boiler and fabulous extras. What will you pair it with?
