I found this engine a while ago, and I've decided that it must be scratch-built, as I've never seen one like it and I can't detect evidence of castings. The pictures don't include anything to show scale, but it's more than twice the size of a Stuart 10V.
It's very well made, if you excuse the slotted screws and funny lock nuts, which I can replace, and it looks like it was never really run. When I tried it on air, though, there was definitely something binding, so I loosened the main bearing caps just a tad, and that helped immensely; I think that just a couple of hours of running in will cure things.
I'm out of action with back trouble right now, but when I get back on my feet I'll try to make a video.
