Jensen #75's are the best bang for the buck imho, very good starting place & your tricking this one out very well. That bix burner will suit your needs for a bevy of future steam plants 😉🙂
The BIX was a good investment. It runs much more "smooth" and "consistent" throughout the boiler run. I don't have to keep refueling it and deal with stinky esbit tablets or ethyl alcohol soot. Stays cleaner, runs better.
I can't wait to mess with a #55 in the coming weeks. Dual-piston engine on a cast iron base will be really wicked. Plus, a larger boiler, I assume.
