Kontax Nano Cannon
« on: August 08, 2020, 05:02:00 am »
Having been very impressed with my Nano Disc from Kontax, i couldn't resist getting the Nano Cannon to keep it company. I like the futuristic appearance of this engine as it looks like it came straight from the set of Flash Gordon or Buck Rodgers!!

The Ross Yoke linkage is also very nice and i'm pleased to say it runs beautifully.
I will post a video up in due course, for now enjoy the photos:

Thanks Bruce, yes Kontax engraved both this one and my Nano disc for me.
It is nice they offer that service.

Yes Kontax make some really nice stuff, great that they are made in England too.  ;D

Currently have my KS90S running outside in the rare British sunshine.

I read that they are made here in one of your previous posts, must look strange to see 'made in England' on something, but i am proud we are.

Custom engraving looks great too, very Foxy  :D

Hope the sun keeps shining on you

There is a special added joy when getting a new engine if it actually runs when you first start it up. It never ceases to amaze me how many oriental engines cost plenty good money , arrive broken or defective, then it’s the labor of the new owner to fix the darn things. Not so with those English Kontax, right out-of-the-box and they run great. Run great long time too !

Ahhh yes, 1929 Buck Rodgers disintegrator gun 25th century retro-futuristic. A nice accessory in the capable hands of adventurous Wilma Deering.
