Doug i also have an ST engine and i like both as my ST is very nicely made, but i think the castings are a lot finer on the MSM engine. However i think if you were buying new then the Tyne is a no-brainer due to the price and it even comes with a lubricator, something you'd have to buy extra with the ST engine.
