Stuart Engine and water pump

This is a bronze cylinder Stuart No7 driving an early Stuart centrifugal water pump.

Great to see it working hard, such a shame Stuart no longer offer these centrifugal pumps in their range.

I'd love MSM to offer a water pump accessory for their Mildura engine.   ;D

I've read the specs on these pumps and they will certainly move some water. I love your setup to circulate the water, it falls along the same lines I was thinking. Very cool.

Thanks guys, they can pump some water.
With the direct drive the pump is only ticking over, it would really fly on a pulley setup.

Nice setup Dave and even better to see the Stuart running on steam. That pump really does move the water  8)

Bonjour Dave,
You are lucky with your pump, mine does not work well because a leak at the lower bawl level. The D10 is steam consumer and needs a pump:

I have to go to a friend workshop to try to solve the problem.
Besides this, I am not sure it is a Stuart pump, a friend installed one from Stuart castings on one of my other D10:

I just bought a stuart centrifugal pump casting kit at cabin fever. I didnt need any more build projects, but at $20.,i couldnt resist. Nice to see yours in action.

Bonjour Doug,
If you refer to my D10, replacing the initial on too toght, the coupling system is now what we call "TOC" in France, acronym I do not know furthermore.
One part is male and the second female, the first has 2 plugs, the second 2 slots at 180 °.
the clearance in the adjustment allows a small offset between the machine and the propeller shaft.
I hope you see it better there :

That's a great combination Dave - that pump really works well. I have a couple of those as I'm a sucker for Stuart but never really tried them out - I just may copy your nice setup.
