  That's how it should be... take the item out and still have a full box of peanuts

• Thanks Larry! I'm assuming they were easily broken off only having 2 wire hinges... I think my only Bowman with a lid is my 410 loco
  
  And Bowman boxes are the only boxes I like as they are stackable. Kinda nice most of my engines are missing boxes or I would need another room to store them
