Today's Arrival - Bowman M158
« on: September 30, 2019, 02:03:32 pm »

A box in a box...

Why can't eBay sellers pack like this??

Another box? It keeps getting smaller...

That's how it should be... take the item out and still have a full box of peanuts

Do I keep opening? or is it the box version of a Russian doll?

I won't keep anyone waiting  ;)

Lot was passed at a recent auction, so I contacted Bertoia and agreed on a sale

Again I think that's a very nice example Nick - and too bad the box lids don't seem to survive very often.

Thanks Larry! I'm assuming they were easily broken off only having 2 wire hinges... I think my only Bowman with a lid is my 410 loco

And Bowman boxes are the only boxes I like as they are stackable. Kinda nice most of my engines are missing boxes or I would need another room to store them  :D
