Bob, I do believe you are correct on the date and model number (if you have a 9cm boiler)

I also had an entry in the contest but in all honesty your model is exceptional and fully deserves the first place this month.
It will be a pleasure watching it as a banner every time I visit the forum.

I just measured it and it is 9cm. I saw it dated in the Dampfspielzeug book on page 63, it didn't show the model number but a good picture that's a match and the date of 1907. The book is in German so I didn't translate the text.
 Thanks for you help, Nick

Thank you very much. I've always like this engine so when Gil put out the call I looked in an old cabinet that's 2 feet from me and grabbed this engine. I've never Fired it mostly because of the Japanned finish, but I might ? It does look like its was fired before. It's just a simple engine with no pump or governor but has clean lines and the condition is fine. The Japanned boiler is what make it with the fine lines trimming it.

Well now Bob, that photo was from clear back in 2011, but I actually had the Falk reassembled shortly thereafter, with the needed repairs and new sight glass made as seen here:

For some strange reason, I have always liked that photo of it laid out in disassembled sub-assembly groups .... but I guess few others share my tastes!?!?!?   ;c)

That is a cool photo of all the parts. I found myself looking it over a couple times.
