Austria Generator
« on: November 24, 2019, 01:42:59 am »
I bought this generator from on eBay after someone on the forum talked about it. The seamed a
little high but with a total of about 89.00 US dollars it looked good to me. I have to say I have never
seen a better back item in all my days buying on eBay. So it was worth the extra postage to get it in great shape.
I thought that the wood board  a little small. So I made it bigger and added a switch for the light and
added two terminals for running a motor. Here is what I did to the generator kit from Austria.

That´s a purchase you won´t regret Carl, Kurt Berger makes great gennys, with a very nice output.

I agree with the size of the original bases, and really like what you´ve done to yours there.
A way more stable and versatile solution, with the switch and outlets on there as well.

Good job !!!
Cheers

Wow Carl, that is one heck of a great improvement!! I bought one of these many years ago, plus an extra genny/pulley set for a lower price than the lamp post set. I really like the added terminals and of course the switch is fun to flick on and off when running with an engine to see the effect a load has.

I was just looking for an engine on the shelf yesterday and flicked the pulley by hand on mine and was surprised how well it lit the bulb.

Nice one Carl, i've seen these generators pop up from time to time on UK eBay and know a few people that own them. I like what you have done with the base on yours!

Excellent purchase Carl. I got mine from Geoff Swales (ozsteamdemon) when he had his dispersal sale. I love mine. Best generator I have for sure.

Carl, it's a thing of beauty.  I had one of these years ago but sold it on...wish now I did not !!!  Might have to remedy that.
