Re: Cringle Manufacturing Model Generator

This weekend I was studying this generator pretty closely as I liked the look, but I was worried about the actual current output capability.  Generally, I use incandescent bulbs with my generators as I prefer the light output and like using the generator to provide a good working load for the engine.  I have a decent selection of bulbs and usually I can balance light output versus load to get what I want.

Does the generator pull very hard?  Maybe it would be nice to use with the Stirling engine I have.
Did some further testing.
The led bulb that came with the generator draws 24ma, but I dont think it would light 8 this size.
I tried a #44 inc. Bulb which draws 220ma at 6v and the generator would not light it up and pulls very hard.
It still meets the manufactures specs, although it might not meet you requirements.
Hope that helps
