With the PM Research generator you are definitely going to need to use resistors so you don’t blow them out. I’m not sure of the values. It varies depending upon what LEDs you use. You can find the information with a Google search. Some on Amazon come with them. The little generator on my Wilesco Showman’s engine doesn’t make that much current so I didn’t use resistors with those. What engine are you running it with? You should have no trouble lighting an incandescent bulb . If anything you should have trouble not burning it out. Make sure that your posts on the generator are vertical with one above the other. If they are beside each other it will not work properly. Good luck!
