Recent Early Electric Motor Purchases
« on: April 11, 2022, 06:04:00 pm »
It seems that I have been accumulating a small collection of early toy motors recently, so I thought I would get a video of all the recent acquirements.  Most have come from Ebay, and a few others from friends.  It's just something to fill the time until I find the next great steam engine purchase!

Interesting assortment. The Ajax is sweet.

Nice collection Doug , I particularly like the Ajax for some reason.

The gentleman who sold the Ajax on eBay does beautiful restorations. I will be watching for future listings. It runs beautifully on a single AA battery.

I like your Motors very much - especially the big SS (Super Sport) with the cool sound!
Nice to play around, Arnold :D

I’ve got at least 8 stepper motors waiting to get converted to generators plus a MResearch model dc motor. I barely took it out of the box. I’m picking away at modifications to my steamer . I’ll probably not run it on real steam as my boiler project is on hold at least untill our lathe is fixed.
