Not in South Dakota  ;)

I missed out last year, we had the van loaded and ready to leave with only a few hours to go and the school called sending our son home because he came in close contact with Covid, so we had to quarantine.

Maybe we are all lucky this year and can visit one or the other event. Although, when I look at the development of the Covid numbers here in Europe now, I feel sick again. On the other hand, one must always remain an optimist.

The Black Hills Model Engineering Show is a little over a week away.

I have my reservations made and will be there.

Are you going to make it this year Nick?

Hi Jim, just spotted this, unfortunately as you may have seen today I was/am not there. We sold our house and the buyer wanted to close by the 29th, so I only had 11 days to get everything out of the house, sheds and barn, so I’ve been a little busy!

Have a good time!!

Sorry you couldn't make it.  It was a great show that I very much enjoyed.

Also, the word came down during the show that there will be no NAMES show again next year :(

Nick:

How many truckloads did it take to move all of your engines?  :)

Bummer about NAMES… that many years off could kill a show for good :(

Charlie, I didn’t keep track, but I hauled them in a minivan with the seats pulled out and it took 6 days to get them all moved
