The generator, if original says 1950's.... more specifically 1952 and after.


I have the same issue with mine that is the one in the Jensen museum and archives. It also has the 3 piece magnet and is listed there as 1949.
Like yours, it has the 2 rubber pigtails coming out of the chimney stand and a cloth cord off the bakelite socket. It turns out that Tom Sr. put out riveted boiler #50's up into the mid to late 1950's and then 1 more in the 1960's that was the first ever Jensen to have 3 heaters and is the only riveted boiler #50 with a copper brick firebox and chimney stand.
