Small but full sized
« on: January 12, 2020, 03:40:51 pm »
Here are a couple of true beauties that are sized such that some of us might actually be able to consider housing them, if not actually affording them.

First up here is a steam bicycle, exceptionally well engineered and "space age" built to an amazing degree of efficiency.

Second is something that I'd rather prefer myself, and it is also very efficient and nicely built, but to a far more traditional style.

Hope you enjoyed them both!

Excellent thanks for showing.
I too prefer the boat for its traditional style but the bike shows how steam can be enhanced by technology

What a wonderful old contraption that buggy is! Reminds me a bit of Phil's (Bugsy's) tricycle.

I'll still take the boat though  ....    in my dreams !!!    ;c)

Absolutely fantastic! They are both just great examples of engineering prowess. That bicycle is amazing. The boat is more of a babe magnet though!

That boat is just plain elegant!

Also that is the first small Clif Blackstaffe Steeple Compound I have seen.
The larger ones I saw were 3-4 feet tall.

I have a 2.5" stroke steam piston that is "full sized"
If I had the storage space... And the money... I'd have a few more engines.
