Hello Arnold,

always a pleasure to see you. As a child I could watch the old steam locomotives as they passed our house. The last train ran in 1964. The tracks have long since been dismantled. The line has been closed down. Not far from my hometown, in Siegen, there is an association of old railwaymen who have made it their business to save old steam locomotives and put them back into service. From time to time, nostalgic trips are made with the old steam locomotives and the wagons that go with them in keeping with the times. Always an experience.
