Are the mixers or carbs on these engines screwed in or pressed in place ?

Hi Paul,... what's best non-destructive way to remove or rotate just the spraybar ?....there's always been lively discussions on spraybar # of holes & orientation direction for optimizing fuel atomization issues from way back i was flying Fox nitro airplane 35 & 36x motors.

Not sure. Frankly I wouldn't try it. The hole on my spray bar is facing towards one side instead of the interior of the mixer. However, my engine runs just fine so I won't mess with it. I wanted to know if my mixer was screwed in because it was loose and I wanted to use loctite to secure it. I ended up using rubberized ca adhesive. Incidentally, I just purchased some Tygon fuel tubing from McMaster-Carr as my fuel line doesn't seem to be holding up too well. The new fuel line is clear yellow.

Hmm...my spraybar has a venturi centered, 90° thru-hole pointing straight outward & inward ....maybe a production change ?

I just looked at my engine and the hole is turned slightly toward the front of the engine. I didn't know that the bars are
drilled clear through . That must be the case with mine.

Yes, ..model plane engine users of similar size nitro engines claimed a slightly rotated (you could just barely see either hole) spraybar ran better...i might apply a little twist & see if i can get mine like yours...thx, .tom.
