Thomas, very nice mods!  Does the new base have enough weight to keep the engine from jumping?

Hi,
I slowed the engine down by lengthening the springs a little bit and the base has some rubber under its feet.
So there is no jumping around any more.

Kind regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,..you can fix the grub screw problem by tapering down grinding a sae 3/32" size allen/hex wrench until it just fits. Those grub screws are semi-stripped rounded out plus the 2mm wrench is a bit undersize, but the "customized" 3/32"" will work real good. Good luck wirh you well done engine mods project.

Taper down the 3/32" kinda just to fit the grub screw at the wtench tip &  turn either direction while applying strong downward pressure into the screw while turning. Worked for me after i had exhausted all other efforts.

Hi and thanks again.
As imperial size wrenches are difficult to get here locally, I ordered one on ebay.
I will report back when I got it and have customized it.

Kind regards
Thomas

Hi Thomas, ..as mentioned by Stroker, don't get the hex wrench  hot..i used a fine tooth flat file and filed all 6 sides of the 3/32" wrench in a Slight tapered wedge shape until the tip just fit into the grub screw. Then, after tapping wrench down for max seating & applying hard downward force, Slowly turn that sucker counter-wise & you should feel it break lose without slipping or rounding anything off. Good luck with your process, tom
