Mine, once running, is complacent at about 5/8 turn out from lightly seated.

Thanks Benny. I added a small piece of tubing to the valve, marked it with a Sharpie and Shazam. Worked great and ran out a full tank of gas (followed by a few more tank fulls). 🤠

I also added a few drops of two cycle oil to each tank full.
