Perkin's Windmill Hit and Miss Engine
« on: June 22, 2022, 03:44:33 pm »
This is the first of two engines, purchased the first day of the Coolspring Engine Show.  I bought these from Gil, sight unseen (for both of us!).  We were both quite surprised at the fine quality of both engines, and both run beautifully after some minor lubrication, probably due to the likely fact that they had not been run since they were built.

A wonderful engine and great that you ran a Shelf Queen.

Runs great, Doug!
I built one of those back in 1988 from a mechanics kit and still have it.
