Running Herb Bedell Engines...you put a roll pin where?

The roll pin is in the intake :o

I will not hit and miss right without it. Needs a bit or bob. The Flywheels are from this tiny steam...met a gasser first.

Hi all,
 Roll pin replaced with more permanent fix, used a 10-24 thread in case hole size needs to be adjusted for altitude.

Once upon a time I ordered a casting set, advertised as "can be built with drill press". My drill press was not big enough so I was unable to complete several of the operations alluded to in the provided blueprint. Many years later I met Herb and eventually the fly wheels were drafted for the above blue engine.

Will take video when I get another engine on bench.

This one came from Herb with a hole that accepts a 5/16 tap ( blue one took a 10-24 tap)

Had a tap and bolt, put a hole in center, runs better...

Under load...Need a little more tension on spring holding needle pin...


Gonna run the of gas of this one, will try to get another on bench if anyone interested.
