On the waiting list for over a year

Been on the waiting list for this one to be back in stock for well over a year… a couple weeks ago I received an email that it was back in stock and I signed in as fast as I could to place an order. It arrived today and just thought I’d look on the website and it’s already out of stock again.

Well, currently it looks like this… always wanted a Kontax stirling, but couldn’t make my mind up on which model… but then I seen one in copper 😍 and had to have it!

Was busy working on a steamy Easter project today so will have to put the build off a day or two, but eventually it should look like the picture below… I believe I have the perfect coffee cup to run it on too  ;)

Forgot to mention above, the engine is in the little box, the big round one is a glass dome display case

Very nice, Nick! I have a bunch of pieces from Kontax. You can’t go wrong with any of their engines.

Can't go wrong with them. Are they including white gloves now? My daughter assembled mine for a Christmas present.

I assume the gloves are for the glass dome I ordered? But I will probably wear them (if they fit  :D ) when assembling just to keep finger prints off the copper. I would guess they would have coated it with something though?

Nice touch. Are those copper plates or anodized aluminum with a copper finish? They look great either way. Mine is a simpler version with nickel finish (anodized alum.).

I checked back to see the message was 47 minutes old.  I have the double one
and it runs off the heat from my keyboard on the computer. It's a solar version.
You're going to love it.

I guess I never looked closely at them, will take a better look when I open the box back up…

I must have gotten an email earlier than you… They emailed me at 4:24 am local time and I ordered at 6:20 am

That is a very attractive little LTD Stirling engine.  I like the copper, brass and bronze contrast with the silver.

Looking forward to it running on a cup of hot whatever.
