In SR1a news, it is coming together! It now has the steering rod, new whistle, belt, and the pressure value has new seals. The scuttle on the back is from my brother's SR1a that he picked up from a antique shop in the East Texas area. I have one coming via UK eBay that is from the late 60s / early 70s that has a spirit burner.
He was also able to repair the backend that was busted up and put in new rivets.
