    Dang ! That thing looks good . I don't think it needs any more work . It is old, it looks old , and it is beautiful .

Great find Mike. If it were mine I would never repaint the engine base and generator--why make it look new?

The only reason I considered repainting was the fact that the previous owner had already repainted it the wrong color.
It will more than likely remain in its current patina state.
