Brent, I think I was on the phone with you when the hammer came down on this one. I missed a higher bid by what must have been a millisecond.
Don't know either of these sellers but they buy regularly at these auctions. Sorry you missed that one Gil.
I thought maybe they were close to the auction house , but Denver Pa to Brewster Ma. is a 5.47 hr drive.
The Weeden ends in 7 days, but it’s already at $55

^^^By the way, look at the shipping prices from ebay seller Walnutts on the 2 above… auctions ended a couple mins apart but nearly a $50 difference in shipping!
Wallnutts is an antique store, they have purchased parts from me for several years.
BigStu lost a little on this one

I noticed the description was recycled (have seen Walnutts do that too)

You have to really get a bargain on these engines if you plan to resell them , by the time you have them shipped to you (without damage) ,pay the shipping fees , the buyers premium... Ect. Usually there's not much meat left on the bone after everyone else gets their share.
Anyone know who walnutts is?? They are always re-listing engines from these kind of auctions

Yes Nick, I have bought from 'Walnutts' in the past with shipping all the way to Australia; No problems.
I have also bought a number of engines from them with no issues. An A++++ eBay seller. And I am happy for them to make a profit off of auction buys. So much less hassles than trying to deal with the Auction Houses (unless you are close enough to pick up).
Walnutts will be able to retire after re-selling all these engines!

@Nick. Funny how things workout sometimes. I gifted that vertical electric Marklin to Mirko in Germany, and it ended up in Scott’s collection, and now we do not know where it will land.
