My brother is wanting to know any information on this Stream Train - thanks for any help. He says he isn't finding markings on it.
Looks to be Bassett Lowke
Bassett-Lowke, Enterprise, 4-4-0.
Looks re-painted (?), with original tender. Great Britain, 1930/40s. With Bing "genes".
Original wick burner.
An un-complicated, usually well-running loco. If you need any advice on how to run it, you will find it here..
Hello again,
if you want to run this loco and are not familiar with 0-gauge live-steam locos, it will need a bit of patience and some information (e.g. the importance of keeping the burner vent clear, not to overfill the boiler, the oiler and the burner-tank, which oil to use, not to shake the boiler when full etc etc).

My bother and his friend David (David bought it decades ago) didn't paint it but that doesn't mean it wasn't painted before that. Any ideas of the worth as it looks now?
I passed along all the information above - I know you guys would be able to help with the ID - you guys are awesome!
Hi Richard
I dont want to be a kill-joy but what is that fluffy material used on the burner? I hope its not asbestos.
Cheers
Rob
