here in Europe, camping gas cartridges can be connected to the burner. They will be available in the US as well. I have converted my D20 and Wilesco truck to gas firing and am thrilled.  I just commissioned a small round gas burner for my small Doll machines from a friend. Gas does not soot like methylated spirits and so I can run the old machines more often without having to spend a long time removing the soot afterwards.
