I actually completely forgot about these, but about 1½ month ago, i purchased several Chinese motor kits. The BINs were clicked, to see how these are qualitywise, and if nothing else, if at least some of the parts can´t be used in dynamobuilds. It is completely doable, but pretty extensive to build a rotor, so figured if they could be salvaged from elsewhere, that would be a good start.Received a REALLY cheaply built motor the other day, but evenso it appears to have some good parts on there, which could easily be transformed into a neat little 3 coiled DC dynamo, for use with the smaller engines. ...and a short rattly test on batteries here:
Today another set arrived, and expectations wasn´t all that high due to yesterdays experience, but i actually am a bit impressed.
Everything seems to be quite well made, even the plasticparts, and the rotor a very nice unit of a decent size.

Anyway, i hope i find the time to assemble this tonight, and hopefully test it as a genny as well, seing that it came with a plasticpulley in the kit.
Will report back on its behaviour later.
