Safety valve opened up
right at 60 psi and cut off quick
as soon as I turned the throttle open.

A nice boiler the Gil

As for powering it you can always end it here as our standard power is 240 volts and our 3 phase is 480.
None of this piddly 110 for us

Cheers

Great video Gil, really enjoyed the whole thing, but the best was the winding down at the end... what a lovely sound that Sipp makes

Liked your little rainforest in the bush too  :D

Man, that boiler really delivers, to be able to drive an engine like those and actually gain pressure while doing so!

Yes, it is doing a great job and let's remember it is operating at about 1900 watts and that is less than a quarter of the 8,000 watts it is rated for at 240 volts.

There will be another video coming soon.

Today (right now) I am testing this boiler with a 1/2 HP Sipp. I believe this is a lot more engine than it would handle with a real work load but for demonstrating it works nicely. It has been running for 1 1/2 hours and still going strong.

Here are a couple pictures of the set-up.
