  How come there were no steam engines in my father's closet?

  Regarding the fuel can and tin 'spoon with a handle'.  Judging from the pix,
this pair was also used for the MARX J-5322 steam engine.  As for me, I used
STERNO in the can.  Not a very hot flame, but it works.
