Corliss Demonstrator
« on: December 31, 2022, 10:48:25 am »
The last one for this Year - a very interesting demonstrator model.
It was made by O.G. Warm, 1955 Palo Alto, California. This engine shows
both kind of valves - one side Corliss - on the other slider. The block of the
motor is made from acrylic to make all the moving parts visible. I guess this
was a model for a University of mechanical Students. It is heavy over 30 kg
and has a length over 50 cm. I got it at a very low price and it is a nice
addition to my collection.
Happy new Year to all, Arnold😆

What a wonderfully unique addition to your stellar collection!

You are a very lucky boy Arnold, to have scored that beauty at most any price!!!
