Doll I was told model 360

Looking for some info, suggestions and parts. I picked this engine up at a show this week. It's in kinda rough shape as far as paint goes but isn't bet and dinged up. Would like to ask opinion on restoring it or just clean and leave as is? Also would like to know what the numbers stamped in top of cylinder cover are for? It is missing smoke stack and boiler drain valve. I did check the threads in boiler and they look good. If anyone has these parts and would sale them please let me know. Thanks

The DRGM number is an early German copyright or patent number.

DC Doll Ship engine model 360 - very nice object -
maybe you have to restore the platform and find
the missing parts.

DRGM was more like a provisional design patent--not really a patent at all. Unfortunately most of these numbers aren't traceable now in Germany. You can sometimes find the parts on German Ebay.

Well Randy, it is certainly in better condition than the one that I bought out of US recently.
By the way, I’d get that Phillips Head screw out as soon as I could; it might be steel and could finish up being a problem.

Yeah my engine is in a little better shape then yours. I have already taken the philips  screw out. And yes it was steel. It had started rusting but wasn't bad at. I made a brass plug and put in it for now. Hopping to find the correct valve to put back in it.
