I still wonder how some of these older collectors amassed some of the most impressive collections pre-internet 

We used to have this newspaper (solely ads) called the Trading Post that was published weekly. It would have been a lot of traveling because this was before PayPal and posting items.

We had similar, swap and shop, etc. but there were no pictures. I have some pre-ebay steam catalogs with some sale ads, but when you look at some of these collections that Gil and others have shared pictures of, it really is unbelievable how many pieces they found

Bummer seller just got back to me and said unfortunately she won't post it

Besides my ebay "hobby" account, we have an ebay business account. Ebay will not add sales tax to your purchases if you provide them with a tax exemption certificate, at least for us here in Pennsylvania. I realize this doesn't help most ebay buyers, but as far as small businesses, it definitley helps.
