Empire B43 with injector pump - first video
« on: May 06, 2024, 11:46:55 am »
Well, I've had this B43 for a while and this is the first
video I've made with the injector pump working.  A bit
leaky at top, but it works pretty well.  Feels nice and
smooth on both the lift and pump strokes.  It seems the
more time and effort I put out make to make an engine run
as intended, the more it is a keeper.

Happy steaming,
Wayne

Nice one, nice run there Wayne!

Perhaps a little lube on that top pump packing gland so you can tighten it down without locking up the pump shaft.

Great job getting that pump working!  I put a little o-ring on mine pumps, pretty sure there was some kind of seal under that nut originally.
