Love steam engines, especially older German made.  Love the more clockwork style.  Addicted to this stuff!

Hello,

I am aware of three sources of Marklin pictures and information:

https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/search?edan_q=%22Engineering%20Steam%20Toys%20and%20Models%22%20marklin
(the last one, collection number MC.322911 looks similar to yours, albeit less fancy.  I am keying off of the one large rectangular vent near the top of the firebox)

https://toyenginecollector.com/toys/search/?mfg__name__icontains=M%C3%A4rklin
(I don't see yours here, but I'm mentioning it for future reference)

http://www.alspcs.com/Marklin_Horz.html
(not yours but I mention it for future reference)

Good luck with your quest!
