Grandson is 12 now and steaming

Eldest Grandson is 12 now and lives about two stone throws away, he's at the age where steam engines are just the coolest thing and he takes a different one
home with him for a few days and steams the hell out of it and then swaps it over for another one.

Well, he seems to concentrate on his job. Looks pretty good to me.A long as he doesn't try to enlarge the burner or the engine by making the swiping gesture... ;)
Only kidding, my experience is that kids today still fall for the hands-on approach. Well done, Jim!

   Nice, I like it, but, I am jealous. When I mention doing a little steaming to my 12 YO grand daughter, she just turns up her nose and says no.

@Jim when are you going to quit messing around with toys, wise up like my dad and get that kid into shooting, then you’ll have cheap/free labor to do some reloading for you 😂 😂
