Looks like my hunt to find a way to get its governor back on has ended.  Frank has told me the cylinder is "lead", thus easy to mess up / melt.

@Stoker - that's pretty cool that write up about that Weeden at National Museum of American History - Weeden #14 with its write up, that one in their photo is later than my brothers (smoke stack came out after the lever safety valve).

And now Nate (my brother) sent me this one to ID for him.  I believe this is a Weeden No. 7  He hasn't tried to steam this one but it seems complete to me.

I am starting to get a little jealous of these photos he is sending me!
