I didn’t bid on any lot at any of the auctions.
I ended up with a few items & some tools for my milling machine.
I bought one of Bruce’s items that were offered in the consignment area. It’s 4 little microcosm engines on a wooden base. I am happy with them, and the kids were thrilled as well. Bruce did a great job as always to display them on that base.
A well known collector was offering few of his rare items for sale; so I ended up with a Boucher twin type 7, a Bassett Lowke new old stock boiler with original gauge, and a one of a kind Anton Bohaboy V4 racing engine that is huge. I will match that with a Copper riveted boiler from the same era that is large enough to handle this racing beast.
I had to bring some engines from my collection to ensure that the public will have something to look at and enjoy knowing that the exhibitors’ attendance will be poor this year, and it was. So, I’ve decided to bring my McConie oscillating engine that I have for 7 years now, and it did fulfill the audience appetite with the other Regner horizontal twin poppet valve engine with reverse & a huge Brass boiler.
I am sure Gil & the forum members will compile a great video; but meanwhile here is some pictures for you to enjoy.
