I contacted PayPal, it is pending only to go to my bank. Deal is resolved. We parted ways.

Chris - been traveling for work this week but saw your plight.  Glad you were able to shut this transaction down. Lesson learned. Don't kick yourself too badly... done something similar awhile back.
